My Garmin Forerunner 201 will not charge. The little metal thingies (technical term) that connect with each other in the charging plate are corroded. Don’t they know they should make these things sweat-proof?? What can I do? Suggestions? Anyone?

I know everyone was waiting in suspense to find out how this story ends, and I am happy to report, the Garmin has been charged. I had the idea to get the little connector thingies wet (you know, because moisture and electronics always seem like a good match). Well, it worked. Alas, tomorrow’s run will be measured out in perfect form, and everyone can sleep easy. Crisis averted.
